The Team and Opportunity
Webjet strives to be at the leading edge of technology, developing solutions to meet the travel needs of our customers. We have evolved our architecture into cloud-native microservices hosted on Azure Cloud in a mix of IaaS, PaaS and Container Technologies and are currently engaged in a series of substantial ongoing development projects.
The Webjet platform enables our product focused delivery teams to build, ship and support their services. It provides secure and seamless deployment, scaling, security and operational monitoring to keep simple and developer friendly platform. As a Platform Engineer, you, along with the team, will be designing, building and supporting this platform, using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, Cloudflare, and enhancing our platform needs further using Python or GoLang programming languages. More important that the technology is the customer focused mindset to deliver solutions that achieve the desired outcome to the end customers, the development teams. We don’t expect you to just read the requirements and code, but rather understand the business and customer drivers for the feature you and your team have been asked to build. You will be empowered to challenge the status quo and come up with innovative solutions.
