The Team and Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Analyst to join Webjet’s Continuous Improvement team within Customer Operations. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive key transformational projects aimed at improving customer experiences, reducing friction, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Our team is a key contributor to the achievement of the organisation’s objectives and continuously improve of the customer journey by effectively engaging with and providing professional customer contact to all customers, other agents and stakeholders.

Job Description

In this role you'll:

  • Drive end-to-end business analysis by translating needs into clear documentation (BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria) and supporting rollout through training materials, communications, and UAT coordination.
  • Analyse and optimise current state processes by identifying pain points, recommending improvements, and partnering with Operations to enhance efficiency and reduce revenue leakage through data-driven insights.
  • Transform customer service and case management data into actionable insights and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) to highlight trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Engage with key stakeholders from various departments including Operations, Technology, and Finance to gather requirements, align on project goals, and ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Support the project management of transformational initiatives by ensuring tasks are completed on time and resources are appropriately allocated.
  • Partner with the Continuous Improvement team to resolve operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions, while tracking and reporting outcomes against baseline KPIs.

Desired Skills and Experience

What we love to see:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Business Analyst role - a background in Travel, Customer Operations or Business Process Improvement would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics, with experience in analysing performance metrics, creating reports, and using analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI).
  • Robust analytical and technical skills to map processes, interpret performance data, and create actionable insights using tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Visio.
  • The ability to support large-scale, cross-functional projects focused on operational improvements, while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Sharp attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies, analyse root causes, and deliver accurate analysis and process documentation.
